CSA

We have enrolled for our third season with Red Earth Farm, a farm which offers community supported agriculture (CSA). I just found out they still have about 100 shares available for their 2012 season. The season runs from June through November. We really enjoy getting the fresh vegetables and fruit every week (our pick up is at Juju Salon in Queen Village) and preparing new things. My boys eat things like kale chips now! This is a nice CSA in that you get to make your own selections online each week! I share a half-share with a friend and we find that it's plenty for us. We get the fruit share, too. We are thrilled to support a local farm and get fresh, chemical-free food, to boot!
